How do you calculate the energy loss in an energy pyramid?
I'm in a competition called Science Olympiad and I'm in ecology. I need to figure out how to calculate the loss of energy.
Answer:
I am in Biology AP and the first section we did was Ecology so I know this one for sure!
Energy is lost at each level in factors of ten.
Ex. If the producers have 1000 units of energy the primary consumers will get only 100 units of energy and the secondary consumer will get 10....and so on.
